The strong form reads confidently in the Perth Hills landscape, while inside, generous glazing, double-height voids and a connection to the established tree canopy create a home that feels open, calm and alive.

The spatial organisation of the home is driven by the existing landscape — the beautiful mango tree at the front of the property and the established trees at the rear become the anchors around which the rooms are arranged. Upstairs living spaces look directly out into the tree canopy, creating a sense of elevation and immersion in nature that defines the character of the home.

The connection between upper and lower floors is made playful and memorable through a netted hammock lounge — a space that bridges levels, captures filtered light and creates a unique moment of rest and connection within the vertical flow of the home. It is a detail that speaks to the personality of the design: serious about performance, but never without delight.
