The form of the home is shaped by its northern orientation, allowing living spaces to open toward sunlight while being protected through carefully designed shading elements. This passive solar strategy ensures warmth in winter and protection from heat in summer — reducing reliance on mechanical systems and dramatically lowering energy consumption.
Spatially, the home flows with intention — each zone connected yet defined, creating both openness and a sense of retreat. The design carefully balances openness and protection, allowing natural light to filter through while maintaining privacy and thermal control.

Shading elements are precisely calibrated to Perth's sun path, reducing heat gain in summer while inviting warmth in winter.
